"It's one of the great human rights struggles of our time."From: NewNowNext
This week in New York, Jack Antonoff teamed up with some of his famous friends and fellow musicians to put on a “Talent Show” for The Ally Coalition to raise money and awareness for issues facing LGBTQ youth and homelessness.
Kesha, Carly Rae Jepsen and Charlie XCX were some of the big names that performed at the concert, but before the show Antonoff sat down with Logo and explained why LGBT issues are so important to him and why he has been a straight ally to the LGBT community for so long.
“It’s one of the great human rights struggles of our time,” Antonoff told Logo. “I don’t have to worry about things getting better for white men, so I don’t work on that.”
Listen to Antonoff’s passionate speech in the exclusive video below.
