Gay pride festivals were created to stand up in support of LGBT people and be proud of who we are, and it looks like redheads have been hoping for the same treatment.
Redhead Day UK has been celebrating ginger pride since 2013 in England, and they are looking toward their next event.
“I wonder if we’re approaching a time when bullying gingers is over,” said Stuart Parry, the 43-year-old pizza delivery driver who is organizing the festival he plans to hold in Plymouth next summer.
