If this whole movie thing doesn't work out, Sandra Bullock might have a future in the rap game.
No, not today’s hits from Kanye or Jay-Z, but old school 1970′s jams like “Rapper’s Delight” by the Sugarhill Gang.
Last week, Bullock, 49, went on “The Jonathan Ross Show” and explained how she knows almost all the words to this classic rap song.
“The sad part is I learned the words cause I liked this guy in high school and I was like, ‘Next time I go to that dance, I’m going to know every word. I’m going to make sure he sees me lip-syncing it, and I’m going to catch his eye and say the words,’” she explained. “‘And he’s going to like me!’”
He probably likes Bullock now. The Oscar winner has the No. 1 movie in America with “Gravity,” which has grossed more than $120 million to date.
“Give me some beats yo,” Bullock said before busting out the song’s lyrics. “I said a hip hop the hippie the hippie.”
The crowd went nuts and so did Tom Hanks, who was also on the show.
By the way, Bullock added that her rapping prowess ended up working on that boy.
