One mom has taken a stand against new trans-inclusive bathroom legislation in Alberta: through rap.
The mom, who goes by MH Weibe, wrote “Gender Bender” to express her disdain for new legislation that will allow trans students to use whatever school bathroom best aligns with their gender identity.
The rap touches on many of Weibe’s grievances, but always returns to a refrain of her not believing this issue needs to be legislated and that focus should instead be placed on preventing cuts in classrooms. She also happens to believe that being transgender is unnatural.
Aside from the horribly transphobic language, the rap itself is just so laughably bad that it’s impossible to take seriously.
