Bill Clinton Makes The Case For Hillary At The Democratic Convention

"The best darn change-maker I’ve ever met in my entire life.”
From: NewNowNext
Hours after his wife made history by becoming the first woman nominated for President by a major political party, former President Bill Clinton took to the stage at the DNC in Philadelphia, delivering a riveting testimony of their life together, and making the case for why she should be elected.

In the night’s keynote speech, President Clinton told the convention about Hillary’s fight for social justice since their early days as law students together, from helping poor people procure legal aid to exposing segregated schools in the south.

“If you were sitting where I am sitting and you have heard what I have heard at every dinner conversation, every lunch conversation, every long walk, you would say this woman has never been satisfied with the status quo in anything. She always wants to move the ball forward, that is just who she,” Clinton explained, adding that his wife was “born with an extra responsibility gene.”

The LGBT community was mentioned just once, when Clinton said “She worked to empower women and girls around the world, and to make the same exact declaration on behalf of the LGBT community in America and around the world.”
