Playing Smallville’s young, hunky and (mostly) costume-free Clark Kent, Tom Welling held a starring role in our fantasies from 2001 to 2011.
In case you need a reminder, here’s Tom in his Smallville days.
Welling, 38, has kept a lower profile in the years since the show ended, but he’ll appear in the next Nicholas Sparks film, The Choice, which hits theaters in February 2016.
And while he’s not able to leap tall buildings in a single bound anymore, Welling still looks mighty super.
In fact, to our minds, he’s gotten better with age.
Who needs Superboy when you’ve got a Man of Steel?
And the scruff?
If CBS was smart, they’d find a guest role for Tom on Supergirl. It’s a shame they already cast Owain Yeoman as Vartox, the space Romeo fond of skimpy leather outfits.
