Airing on ABC from April 8, 1990 – June 10, 1991, Twin Peaks burned brightly for a short while, but petered out after two seasons. But the haunting theme remains one of the greatest meldings of music and show in TV history. “The music was composed by Angelo Badalamenti, and co-creator David Lynch penned lyrics for five songs used throughout the series—including “Falling.” Julee Cruise, who made cameo appearances in both the series and film, provided vocals for four of Lynch’s and Badalamenti’s collaborations.”
