Ed Fury
(1928—)
One of the most famous beefcake models of all time, all-American Fury edged into films and TV via bit parts, such as playing the "Perfect Man" for Abbott and Costello or a gigolo in the Joan Crawford camp classic Female on the Beach. None of his roles called for anything more than showing off his Muscle Beach-bred bod and smiling. The only acting involved was acting surprised when the other actors were called on to drool over his rather obvious perfection.
