Maytag Shows Its Pride In The Most Adorable Way

The Maytag repairman is ready to celebrate Pride!

After their popular Pride campaign last year, which saw the Maytag repairman holding a rainbow cake along with the phrase “Equality and Cake for all,” in a not-so-subtle nod to bakeries refusing to bake wedding cakes for LGBT couples, this year, the popular home appliance brand decided to go full rainbow again to celebrate Pride.

The brand tweeted out the new image Thursday, which shows the repairman holding an armful of colorful groceries along with the phrase “Dependable, powerful and stocked full of pride.”

Maytag, and their parent company Whirlpool, have long been dedicated supporters of LGBT equality. In fact, Whirlpool is the only appliance manufacturer to score a 100 from the Human Rights Campaign on its annual Corporate Equality Index, based on their inclusive treatment of LGBT employees and customers.
