"No matter if they have a lot of hair on their knob."From: NewNowNext
Just in time for Pride, LGBT hotel chain Axel hotels has put out a parody video ad imploring the LGBT community to remember to be “heterofriendly” to their straight peers.
The video features a gay euro-pop style band singing about the struggles that the heterosexual community faces and why it’s important for LGBT folks to be allies.
“Everyone has got a straight friend,” the boys croon, “in spite of this, they’re good people, like you and me,” even if they don’t know how to “combine their socks…know the last Madonna song” or if they happen to “have a lot of hair on their knob.”
It’s a funny bit of satire that looks at the flip side of equality. Of the ad, Juan Juliá, founder and president of Axel Hotels, said: “We wanted to blink an eye at society when facing the struggle for true normalization of the LGBT community, we wanted them to step in our shoes for a moment.”
