DAN OSBORNE - Attitude - March 2014

Dan Osborne is one of the cast members of The Only Way Is Essex

The Only Way Is Essex (often abbreviated as TOWIE) is a BAFTA award-winning 'scripted reality' television show based in Essex, England. It shows "real people in modified situations, saying unscripted lines but in a structured way." The show is filmed just a few days in advance. It is narrated by Denise van Outen, who is from Basildon, Essex. The show has been described by the Daily Mirror as Britain's answer to The Hills and Jersey Shore.

Each series lasts six weeks, airing on Wednesdays and Sundays at 10pm on ITV2 from 2010 to 2014, although in February 2014, it was announced that the series would be moved to ITV2's sister channel ITVBe when the channel launches. The first series consisted of 10 episodes and ran for 30 minutes with a Christmas special followed later in the year. Due to popularity the show was extended to 45 minute episodes and renewed for a year's airing. On 22 May 2011, the series won the Audience Award at the 2011 BAFTA Awards. The eleventh series, which started airing from 23 February 2014, will be the last series to air on ITV2 before the show moves to ITVBe. Series seasons 1–8 are available in the United States on video-on-demand site Hulu on HuluPlus

CELEBRITY SKIN: DAN OSBORNE NAKED

Dan Osborne‘s might not be much of a name on this side of the pond, but you might know him as “that guy who hypnotized Tom Daley with his bulge“ on Splash! (the British version of the international celebrity diving competition franchise). Considering he was famous enough to appear on the show—known for his role on the UK reality show The Only Way Is Essex—I’ve decided he’s famous enough to appear in our Celebrity Skin series. Sort of. I guess.

Either way, you won’t give a fuck whether he’s somebody or nobody when you see his spread for Attitude magazine’s “Naked Issue”. He’s one of 44 scantily-clad men featured between their pages, including his TOWIE costar Charlie King and Olympic gold medalist Greg Rutherford. <— You might want to click on Greg’s name. I have a feeling you’ll be begging me to write a Locker Room post about him afterward.
