Burial plans for Hollywood icons Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher were revealed, according to a report from Entertainment Tonight.

Fisher has been cremated and some of her ashes were buried next to her mother, Reynolds at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in L.A.

A private memorial service for Reynolds and Fisher was held yesterday, January 5, but a public memorial will take place in a few months with celebrities like Tom Hanks, Fisher’s ex-husband, Paul Simon and Meryl Streep paying their respects and honoring the legendary duo.

On Friday, December 23, Fisher went into cardiac arrest about 15 minutes before landing on a flight from London to Los Angeles. Once on the ground, an unresponsive Fisher was taken to UCLA Medical Center and placed on a ventilator. She passed away the following Tuesday.

Her mother, Reynolds suffered a stroke the following day and also passed. Fisher’s brother, Todd told TMZ that Reynolds’ final words were: “I miss her so much, I want to be with Carrie.”

The Great White Way paid tribute to Fisher and Reynolds tonight. Broadway theaters dimmed their marquees  at 7:45 PM for one minute in honor of the actresses. They made their Broadway debut together in the 1973 revival of the musical Irene.

To learn even more about their life together, be sure to watch the documentary Bright Lights: Starring Debbie Reynolds and Carrie Fisher airing tomorrow on HBO.
