Ferdinando Nicola Sacco
and
Bartolomeo Vanzetti
Sacco and Vanzetti were convicted on two counts of murder in 1920. Seven years later they were executed by the electric chair. Their last meal consisted of soup, meat, toast and tea. In 1977 a statement was released saying they had been unfairly tried and convicted and that any disgrace should be removed from their names.
