With rising fuel costs, congested roads and difficulty parking in urban areas, Dump The Pump Day is all about finding alternatives to getting in the car and try to avoid an over-reliance on oil and petrol for the day. Consider alternate methods of transport, public transport such as buses, or at the very least considering a carpool (which, though whilst not adhering strictly to the letter of the day, is at least a good gesture of faith)!
