Not every porn star is the doe-eyed innocent you think. For years, otherwise vanilla porn stars have been ducking into Kink’s San Francisco Armory for something a little different (sometimes VERY different than the sex-in-the-pool/sex-in-the-hotel-room/sex-in-the-gym set-ups of the studios).
With James Franco’s documentary on the world’s largest fetish company showing this weekend at the Frameline Film Festival, and with NakedSword kicking off it’s Kinky Summer, it seemed a good time to revisit the dozens of gay porn stars who’ve secretly gone Kink-y.
Of course, there are DEGREES of Kink. You might argue that NakedKombat’s pin-and-fuck wrestling scenario and Men On Edge’s bondage-and-blowjobs are less extreme than, say, the public disgrace gang bangs of Bound in Public or the power doms of Bound Gods. But what’s most interesting when looking back through five years of Kink? The number of guys who started out Kinky (Jimmy Fanz, we’re looking at you) before hitting the vanilla porn circuit.
(And there are degrees of Kinkster. I didn’t even bother to include porn stars like Christian Wilde or Leo Forte, since they practically live in the Armory.) What gay porn star would you most like to see get kinky?
