Watch What Happens When These Guys Are Photoshopped To “Ideal Body Types”

The Try Guys assess the world's obsession with perfect bodies.
From: NewNowNext
BuzzFeed’s Try Guys find out what they’d look like with an “ideal body type” in their latest video, which employs a team of stylists, makeup artists and Photoshop experts to help make it happen.

In the 11 minute video, the guys talk about their insecurities and discuss what they thought was the “ideal” body type while they were growing up.

Though the guys’ perception of their own bodies have changed over the years, they all agree that there hasn’t ever been a time in when their bodies were considered “ideal” by mainstream standards.

“I grew up in an environment where I was beat up a lot and made fun of — I was kind of told every day that I was ugly,” Eugene reveals. “And then, being Korean, I was also told that I could always be improving how I look. One wouldn’t expect me to have a lot of issues about me, when I’m just riddled with body insecurities.”

The guys are then posed, photographed, and ’shopped to look like their idols — Zach as Justin Bieber, Keith as John Krasinski, Ned as Cristiano Ronaldo, and Eugene as Channing Tatum.

In the end, the guys realize that beauty is only skin deep.

Said Eugene: “I’ve always wanted to look like this, but seeing this now in front of me makes me realize I’ll always have a problem with my body, because I just thought that my stomach still looks fat. It really shows how being so hypercritical of yourself won’t translate into being more self confident.”

“If you have a problem with how you look that’s a way deeper issue than just changing your outsides.”
