The 6’6″ Stavanger, Norway native rakes in tens of thousands of likes daily with photos highlighting his dashing good looks and charming personality.
Matberg amassed nearly 400,000 followers in the last week after being dubbed a real-life “Viking” by people thirst-tapping his photos.
Some of Matberg’s most-liked photos include shirtless selfies, a series of lumberjack style shots of him chopping wood in the forest, photos where he’s in uniform, and a couple more of him holing an adorable Pomeranian named Junior:
Speaking to the Daily Mail for an article that dubbed him “Instagram’s favorite Viking,” Matberg revealed he’s been reading his comment sections intensely.
“They want to marry me,” he said of his throngs of new fans, “or ask me to make them pregnant.”
