Papi--Who's your Papi?

From: Buddy's Bear-Sized Gear Review

So, if you're gay, and you wear any kind of underwear, you know about Papi.  This should be one of the shortest reviews ever.  In a word, they're fantastic.  Thing is, you gotta dig to find the right ones.  Ebay, Amazon, and that wonderful booth that somehow pops up at pride tests all across the country where some obscure underwear store is selling loads of them on clearance.  Two great things about Papi.  They're REALLY widespread, and they make underwear in a size that fits bears, yet is snug and form fitting.

I've seen Papi make every color and style imaginable.  From briefs to thongs, to jocks to socks.  No matter what your taste, Papi has something that any bear can love.  Today, I'm reviewing their briefs.  These are basic briefs I purchased on Ebay.

Let's start with Comfort:  They are form fitting, but not tight.  They feel really good.  Papa's signature tall waistband seems to look great on these, however, having a belly sort of defeats the purpose.  However, unlike some tall waistbands, this one is still really comfortable.

The fabric is very soft and conforms to every curve.  The pouch is also supportive, but doesn't mash your guys.  I've found them to be particularly good to wear while working out.  I'd happily wear these on any occasion.

Moving on to Style:  Papi come in a WIDE array of colors and styles.  They have prints that have never shown up on their website!  If you dig through the web, someone somewhere has a pair of papa's with an awesome print on it.  I picked up these trunks at a pride fest.  I liked the flag pattern.  Some of their newer styles feature mirage prints, and even a plaid microfiber jock that's on sale--I will be ordering!  One thing I congratulate Papi on is their willingness to stick to a classic solid color design.  Stylish and sleek.  Classic, and yet, still up to date!

On the Durability side:  I've never heard much about Papi falling apart, but there can always be an exception.  I've developed a small hole in these, and despite the fact that I continue to wear them, the hole is holding, and not getting any bigger.

I could get them stitched up, but I rather like the hole--adds to my rough trade look.  Still, I didn't expect to see a hole in Papi at all.  But like I said--anything is possible.  I'd say it's rare, though.  Their quality is top notch.  I've never been disappointed.  You won't either.

Price:  It's all over the place.  Even brand new from their site, they're reasonable, but you can always find merchants with Papi on sale.  Even Papi's website has a clearance section with prices that are great!  Google, Amazon, Ebay--That's the awesome thing.  If you want Papi, you can get it at a price that isn't going to break you.

 Overall:  3.75 / 4 stars

Additional pics provided by my friend Dennis Stolz of Omaha, NE. He was good enough to share with us pics of his fuzzy, cubby bod in a couple of his Papi trunks and a really hot Papi thong. I personally think he's smoking hot! I'm guessing more than a few of you will too. Please feel free to reach him at dennisstolz01@gmail.com.

ENJOY!  And thanks again for reading!  BuddySTL!
