With the recent story about the wrestlers who were featured on FratMen, the story of Steven Gaudette also came to mind. I find his journey from successful athlete to internet porn star fascinating.
When I first saw some shots of Steven with the stories of him being a gymnast, I thought it was just a ploy, or something invented to go with the pics. We all know this is done all the time. But no, Steven was quite a successful gymnast who was on the U.S. National Gymnastics Team from 1999-2003. There are youtube videos of him in competition and he was very good. Interesting what took him to the world of online porn? It appears he may have started simply by modelling, but despite his good looks, he has the small frame of a gymnast, and if jobs did not come in, moving to posing nude might have seemed a natural thing to do. It seems Steven attempted to do this quietly, with fake names on various sites, but eventually his real name surfaced. This generally happens with anyone who is remotely known to others.
Athletes have a short shelf life. Often in most sports, by the time your in your 20's your already on your way out. In Gymnastics this is more than true. It would be interesting to see where many athletes who did not make it huge have ended up. I am sure there are many 8th and 9th place finishers working in supermarkets and department stores, looking back at when they were younger
My favorite pics of Steven are actually the nude gymnastic poses he did. I personally find him far hotter in those shots and find them to be both classy and very sexy.
