Back at #20 we had Stryper, but you know what’s worse than Christian Rock? Christian … funk. Or attempted funk. In 1987 Carrie McDowell tried her best to imitate Teena Marie Dressed Like A Rabbi, and released the cringe-worthy message song “Uh-Uh No-No Casual Sex.” Fortunately, people didn’t like being preached to, and the song flopped.
