Favorite Birthday Boy#1 for June 7th

Daniel O'Neill
From: Favorite Hunks & Other Things
You have to admit there is something pretty special, and hot about English actor and stuntman Daniel O'Neill. Daniel turns 34 today.

Of Italian-Irish stock, Daniel Patrick O'Neill the youngest of three brothers was brought up in a family owned restaurant in a small village on the outskirts of Cambridge, England. A world away from the glitz and glamour that his career was to take him.

After watching hundreds of Hong Kong action movies young O'Neill had found his idol 'Jackie Chan' and started training in Tae Kwon Do and Acrobatics. He pushed himself to the limit with exhausting training sessions that would last for many hours everyday. He made a name for himself in the Tae Kwon do world as a 'super kicker'. Daniel won many competitions including the British championships.

Living in England and perhaps seeing a future in shows and corporate events didn't quite satisfy Daniel's hunger to express his art, so, on his nineteenth birthday he bought a ticket that would change the rest of his life. With little more than a few hundred pounds to his name he left for Hong Kong to work amongst his idlos in the Martial Arts action cinema.

Daniel survived long enough to get auditions for action movies and soon started working with the Hong Kong stunt men, it was here where Daniel's style really took form. Already being a 'Super Kicker' and an accomplished Acrobat, Daniel developed his style by training in Boxing, Kung Fu, fight choreography, stunt falls and break dancing. Daniel soon made a name for himself and before long he had worked with some of Hong Kong's finest including Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen and Samo Hung.

Daniel found he was booking a lot modeling jobs and commercials. It became obvious that he had the skills and looks needed to further his career so he branched out into Acting.

Daniel relocated to Bangkok, a place where they love action movies. It was an interesting paradise for him, a place where he could continue to develop his unique fighting style and also work as a Model, Actor, Stuntman and Dancer. Before long Daniel received a call to cast for the action movie 'Bangkok Adrenaline'.

Daniel became the first 'white guy' to play the lead role in Asian action movie history, in which he truly expresses his art both in front of the camera and behind and officially putting a stamp on the Martial Arts action movie industry internationally!.

Daniel say's he has so much more to offer the world of Action cinema and 'Bangkok Adrenaline' is just the tip of the iceberg.
