Luge - Team Relay - 2014 Winter Olympics

Natalie Geisenberger (born 5 February 1988) is a German luger. She became Olympic Champion in the women's singles event and in the team relay at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and won a bronze medal in the women's singles event at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
Geisenberger won the gold medal in the women's singles event at the 2008 FIL European Luge Championships in Cesana, Italy. She also accounts for seven medals at the FIL World Luge Championships including three golds (Women's singles: 2013; Mixed team: 2009,2013).
After four consecutive seasons finishing second in the overall classification of the Luge World Cup, she finally won her first title in the 2012–13 season, after completing an outstanding scoreboard with six wins and three second places.

 Felix Loch
Felix Loch (German pronunciation: [ˈfeːlɪks ˈlɔx]; born 24 July 1989) is a German luger and Olympic champion. He has been competing since 1995 and has been on the German national team since 2006. He won nine medals at the FIL World Luge Championships with eight golds (Men's singles: 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013; Mixed team event: 2008, 2009, 2012, 2013) and one silver (Men's singles: 2011). Loch's men's singles win in 2008 made him the youngest world champion ever at 18 years old. He is the youngest Olympic Gold Medalist in men's Luge history.
At the 2008 FIL European Luge Championships in Cesana, Italy, he finished sixth in the men's singles event.
Previously he had won the 2006 Junior World Championship held in Altenberg, Germany. Loch is member of the Club RC Berchtesgaden and currently lives at Schönau am Königssee though he was born in Sonneberg.
During International Training Week at the Whistler Sliding Centre in Whistler, British Columbia on November 7–15, 2008, Loch injured his shoulder during training. Bob- und Schlittenverband für Deutschland (BSD) Sport Director Thomas Schwab stated that Loch would compete at the opening Luge World Cup event at Igls, Austria on November 29–30, 2008 to which Loch did.
On 21 February 2009, during the 2008-09 Luge World Cup season finale at Whistler Sliding Centre, Felix Loch recorded the fastest registered speed in luge, 153.98 km/h (95.68 mph).
At the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, Loch again won the gold medal in Men's Singles, marking his second consecutive Olympic victory.

Tobias Arlt is a German luger who has competed since the 2000s. He won a silver medal in the men's doubles event at the 2008 FIL World Luge Championships in Oberhof, Germany.
Arlt also won two medals at the FIL European Luge Championships 2010 in Sigulda with a silver in men's doubles and a bronze in the mixed team events.
His hobbies, besides luging, include tennis, windsurfing, and snowboarding.
Tobias Wendl
Tobias Wendl (born 16 June 1987) is a German luger who has competed since the 2000s. He won a silver medal in the men's doubles event at the 2008 FIL World Luge Championships in Oberhof, Germany.
Wendl also won two medals at the FIL European Luge Championships 2010 in Sigulda with a silver in men's doubles and a bronze in the mixed team events.

 Erin Hamlin
Erin Mullady Hamlin (born 19 November 1986) is a three-time Olympian and the first female American luger to medal at any Winter Olympics, as well as the first American of either gender to medal in singles competition. She took the singles bronze medal in Sochi's 2014 Winter Olympics, something the Associated Press called "a feat that will surely go down as perhaps the greatest moment in USA Luge history".
Having opened her luging career in 2005, her first major international victory was the gold medal in the women's singles event at the 2009 FIL World Luge Championships in Lake Placid, New York. This marked the first time in 99 races that a German woman was not the top finisher.
Hamlin finished 12th in the women's singles event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. She was selected in December 2009 to compete at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. In the games, Hamlin placed 16th in the luge competition, coming in as the highest placed American in the event.
A native of Remsen, New York, Hamlin also makes her home in Lake Placid. She is the daughter of Eileen and Ronald Hamlin who both reside in Remsen, NY.
In 2009, Hamlin became a spokesperson for the National Headache Foundation in the wake of her suffering migraine headaches.


 Chris Mazdzer
Chris Mazdzer (/ˈmæzdər/; born June 26, 1988 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts) is an American luger who has competed internationally since 2001. He competed at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, finishing 13th.
Mazdzer's best finish at the FIL World Luge Championships was 6th in the men's singles at Whistler, British Columbia in 2013. His best World Cup season finish was 13th in 2012–13.
Mazdzer resides in Saranac Lake, New York.

 Christian Niccum
Christian Niccum (born January 27, 1978) is an American luger who has competed since 1998. He finished 23rd in the men's singles event at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. Four years later in Vancouver, he finished sixth in the men's doubles event.
Niccum's best finish at the FIL World Luge Championships was ninth in the men's singles event at Park City, Utah in 2005.
Though a doubles specialist in luge, Niccum raced singles in various times in his career. For the 2007-8 Luge World Cup season Niccum, returned to doubles paired with fellow American Dan Joye.
Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Niccum resides in Woodinville, Washington when not involved in luge.

Jason Terdiman (December 21 1988 in East Stroudsburg ) is an American luger .
Jason Terdiman lives in Berwick . In doubles since the 2006/07 season as the man behind together with Christopher Mazdzer in a two-seater. In 2007, he won at the Junior World Championships bronze medal, behind 2008 Toni Eggert and Marcel Oster silver. In 2007, he participated as double the profits of silver, 2008 gold medal team. In the 2007/08 season they were in the Junior World Cup six times and second in the overall standings Vice. 2007 and 2008 they won the title of U.S. Junior, 2008, they were also at the U.S. Championships third parties. In the 2008/09 season the double debuted early in the season in Igls in Luge World Cup and was ranked 17th It was followed by a 16 Rank in Sigulda and a 14 Place in Winterberg .
