For the second time in its history, the guys in the swimming section of the sports club LGBT Panthers Cards have stopped swimming for a calendar. Two years ago they did to try to improve the economic situation of his club and was a success. Once again, they been photographed in a swimsuit but with a charitable aim: to collaborate with the center BCN Checkpoint, an organization that fights for the early detection and prevention of HIV.
The calendar images are by Juan Pablo Santamaria, well-known photographer in the world used to portray gay men as very attractive for various companies and publications. This is not the first calendar does. He is also the author of Manhunt calendar and artists such as José Galisteo.
"Our first calendar was sold very well and helped us financially. This year our financial condition is much better but we wanted to redo a schedule for fun, to publicize the group and collaborate with a partnership which we believe does a great job, "said the coordinator of the group, Mano Ventura.
More than 2000 photos
In his 2014 calendar are 21 swimmers who were portrayed in Hotel Axel and a pool in the Raval neighborhood. In total more than 2000 photographs were made of a dozen that have been chosen to illustrate the final product, full of pictures with all kind of guys. The final design is the work of 115 shoot a photography studio with over 10 years of experience in the imaging and design.
