"Hey!! I think you're the coolest. And was wondering what is the coolest place/party to go out in San Francisco? I'm from Vancouver (Canada) and going there November 22. I have no clue what to do. I thought I'd ask. - Though I now know what gym to check out. :-) Thank you!" -- shannaziripour

"Thats an impossible question. I can’t just pick one thing as the “coolest” place or party on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Its impossible.

San Francisco shuts down around Thanksgiving because thats when people leave the city.

As such, there are no worthwhile parties.

Luckily, there are still some fun things to do in the city. Here are my top five that I subject all visiting friends to:
Shopping: Mr S Leather
Relaxing: Kabuki Hot Springs
Eating: Espetus
Drinking: Rye Bar (gay drinking: Martunis, bear drinking happy hour at Midnight Sun)
Sight seeing (in order): Golden Gate Park Tea Gardens, Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Warf, The Castro)" -- Noodles and Beef
