Only the good-looking die young— Vidal suffered a fatal heart attack at 40 |

Henri Vidal
(1919—1959)
This French lead is someone you may or may not have heard of, but if your ears have been deprived your eyes have been downright cheated. He was very active in the French cinema in the forties, a big, macho man with the fine features of a statue lovingly sculpted by a presumably gay artisan. Sidebar: His widow, leading lady Michèle Morgan, is alive to this day—she will turn 95 February 29th.
