Since Ryan Reynolds’s take on Hal Jordan was such a disappointment, you’d think original Green Lantern Alan Scott—who was retconned into an out and proud gay hero in 2012’s relaunch—deserves a chance to fight alongside the rest of the nascent Justice League in the upcoming Batman v. Superman sequels.

Sadly, it’s been reported that it’s straight Hal Jordan who will appear in 2019’s Justice League Part Two. But maybe Alan Scott will play a role in 2020’s Green Lantern Corps. Kinda makes you wonder how good Alex Pettyfer looks in green…
