Caleb Bankston has died at the age of 26.
The Survivor: Blood vs. Water contestant lost his life after the train he rode on derailed on Tuesday (June 24) in Birmingham, Alabama.
“Caleb was an amazing man and friend,” fellow contestant Aras Baskauskas shared to People. “One of the sweetest and most sincere humans I’ve ever come across. I am gutted by his loss. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.”
Caleb is the third Survivor contestant to pass away since the show premiered in 2000.
In case you didn’t know, Caleb‘s fiance Colton Cumbie was also on the CBS show twice. The couple was reportedly set to get married this October.
