Str8UpGayPorn is sorry to pass along the news that gay porn star Jorge Schmeda aka Max Schutler has died. We was just 35 years old.
Schutler became a well-known and prolific performer after launching his gay porn career in 2007, appearing in dozens of titles for multiple studios. Schutler made gay mainstream news in 2008 when he was at the center of a controversy involving the “International Mr. Gay” competition. After already winning the Mr. Argentina title, Schutler was asked to withdraw from the competition, and he was subsequently replaced by another contestant. Schutler continued to work in gay porn until 2011.
While Schutler was absent from the gay porn world for several years, he returned briefly in 2015 to perform in a handful of bareback scenes for Lucas Entertainment, but those were his final on-camera performances. Prior to his retirement and brief comeback, Schutler was often selected as the cover model for magazines and DVDs from Raging Stallion, Titan, Hot House, and more.
A cause of death was not announced as of post time, but Schutler appears to have passed earlier this month. Friends and fans have been posting their condolences on the performer’s Facebook page.
