 Mean Girls heartthrob Jonathan Bennett is ready to marry Rent’s Anthony Rapp—or is he?


 The out actors play Daniel and Christopher, a gay couple trying to overcome their differences before their wedding, in the new romantic comedy Do You Take This Man? But will their friends and family—including Mackenzie Astin, Thomas Dekker and Alyson Hannigan—help them get down the aisle or send them packing?



Writer-director Joshua Tunick says he was inspired to tell a story about how two very different people make a marriage work. “Not two gay people. Not two straight people. Two people,” says Tunick on the film’s Kickstarter page.

Production wrapped last June—the same day the Supreme Court made marriage equality the law of the land—but Tunick and co-producer Eric Kopps need help getting Do You Take This Man? to the church on time.

So far, they’ve garnered about $10,000 of their $35,000 goal before July 2.
