I am so sorry to do this. I was there with you when Jake mysteriously chose Vienna, then fought with her on a shocking reunion special, then scared us all with his constant self-esteem collapses on Dancing with the Stars. I was there! I really was. But if this is a looks-only Bachelor size-up — and that’s what it definitely is — I need him on this list. He looks like that Nebraska wrestler who got busted for doing gay porn. I’m sorry. This is merely a technical inclusion, and I’m sorry for it all. I’m sorry for all of us. But the (socio)path to hotness is paved with ugly truths, and the hardest truth right now is that I docked Jake Pavelka a whole bunch of points for being Jake Pavelka, but he still clocks in pretty high on the list.
