 Looks like Ellen’s getting her game on: NBC has ordered six episodes of a prime time game show based on silly segments from Ellen DeGeneres’s daytime series, Variety reports.

The hour long Ellen’s Game of Games, which DeGeneres will host and executive-produce, will riff off her regular audience-engaging bits like “What’s in the Box?” and “Know or Go?”

“We’re pulling out all the stops—gigantic sets, hilarious games,” says DeGeneres in a statement. “It’s going to be like a combination of American Ninja Warrior, RuPaul’s Drag Race, and a water park.”

“OK, it’s nothing like that,” she continues, “but you should still watch.”

 Dustin Lance Black’s ABC miniseries When We Rise is filled to the brim with famous faces chronicling decades of LGBT history, and last night’s episode focusing on the ’90s featured a cameo from Willam Belli.

The out-of-drag queen played Jason, an angry Act Up activist who rallied against the AIDS Quilt, in Thursday’s installment of the eight-part series.

Willam posted a set photo with Guy Pearce, who plays gay activist Cleve Jones in the project, and shared that he learned a few behind-the-scenes secrets from the star’s cult classic, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.

Variety reports that the miniseries lost almost 1 million viewers from its premiere, garnering an audience of 2.05 million on Wednesday night with a 0.6 demo rating.

Grammy-nominated R&B and dance artist Deborah Cox has recorded an album of Whitney Houston songs from the stage musical The Bodyguard. The Broadway alum is currently belting her heart out as superstar Rachel Marron in the national tour of the show, which is based on the Houston-led 1992 film of the same name.

 Deborah Cox: I Will Always Love You will include “I’m Every Woman,” “I Have Nothing, “All the Man I Need,” “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” “Run to You,” “The Greatest Love of All,” “Jesus Loves Me,” and, duh, “I Will Always Love You.” The eight-track EP will be released March 31 and is now available for pre-order.

“I’ve always been a fan of the songs in the movie so it has been a dream to perform them on stage every night,” says Cox in a statement. “This project was born out of continuous requests from my fans and people who have seen me in the show. They wanted to have something with me singing these songs so I listened and went to work putting this EP together.”

Of course, loyal fans know that the two ladies go way back. Cox fittingly sang a duet called “Same Script, Different Cast” on Houston’s 2000 greatest hits compilation. She also re-recorded the late legend’s vocals for the 2015 Lifetime biopic Whitney.

Dad Raped Teen Daughter After Revealing She Was Gay

A sick, disturbing story comes to us about a 54-year old man who raped his 16-year old daughter after confiding in him that she was gay.

The information about what happened to the teen was shared in a report by the Mirror.

“The 54-year-old reacted with “uncontrolled anger” by brutally attacking the 16-year-old who had confided in him that she was struggling with her identity.

The father, who cannot be named to protect the identities of his victims, also raped his other daughter during two decades of sexual abuse.

He has now been jailed for 21 years after being found guilty of three rapes during the 1980s and 90s.

Judge Andrew Lockhart QC told the brute: “The court heard from both of these two women. They have both been severely psychologically damaged by your behaviour.

Listening to [one of the victim’s] evidence of her feeling of guilt at leaving her sister to face you was the most harrowing of evidence.”

Apparently, the father had pleaded “not guilty” in court to nine charges of indecent assault and one charge of indecency with a child … and three of rape.

According to the Mirror piece, he was convicted on all of the charges after the trial.

“It began with sexual abuse of one daughter and, after she left home, moved on to abusing the other daughter.

The judge told the defendant he had committed serious sexual offences against his daughters for 21 years.

He described how the older girl had been groomed from the age of 11.

“It affected her greatly,” he said. “She left the home, and she thought her sister would be safe, because she thought you would never touch (her) in the same way.

“But you groomed your [other] daughter in the same way and began assaults on her.”

“As a 16-year-old girl she realised she was gay and, struggling with her identity as many people do at that age, she decided to tell you.

“You reacted by showing real and uncontrolled anger, and you decided to rape her to show her why it would be better to have sex with men than women. Her evidence made harrowing listening.

“That rape involved degradation and humiliation. The offence demonstrated your hostility towards her as a lesbian.”

The lawyer representing this sick creep tried to get him a reduced sentence. But the judge wouldn’t have it. In fact, as much as possible, the court through the book at him.

“The rapist’s barrister Sally Hancox had argued that the offences could be dealt with by a ‘determinate sentence’, pointing out that since his offending ended there had been a number of years without him committing any further offences.

But that was rejected by Judge Lockhart QC who imposed the extended sentence and also ordered the father to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

The judge pointed out that at the time of the defendant’s indecent assaults in the 1980s, the maximum sentence was just five years – whereas now he could have faced life imprisonment for penetrative sexual activity.”

Netflix just dropped the trailer for the third season of its hit show Grace and Frankie and it looks like there’s trouble in paradise.

Picking up where season two left off, the trailer opens on Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) attempting to secure a loan for their personal vibrator business.

Belding Area Schools Unveils New Mascot

I understand the reason for why this happened, but as a Belding Alumni, the Redskin mascot was used to represent and honor the Native Americans of the area, never meant to be disrespectful.  I support the change, but will always be a Redskin in my heart.

 The wait is over for students and staff anxious to know what the next mascot for Belding Area Schools will be.

During an assembly on Friday morning, the Belding Black Knight took the auditorium stage to uproarious applause from the audience.

The costume is an example of what the mascot could look like, but is not the final choice. Belding High School Principal Michael Ostrander said the next step will be for the district to collect graphic design ideas for the primary and secondary art for the mascot. The Black Knight was the top choice in survey results from students in the district and in the community.

Trump accused President Obama of wiretapping Trump Tower during the election, ripping out a series of paranoid, hysterical tweets. The tweets seemed timed to distract the media from investigations of his administration’s potentially treasonous contact with Russians prior to the U.S. election.

Said Lewis in a statement:

“A cardinal rule of the Obama Administration was that no White House official ever interfered with any independent investigation led by the Department of Justice. As part of that practice, neither President Obama nor any White House official ever ordered surveillance on any U.S. citizen. Any suggestion otherwise is simply false.”
