Netflix just dropped the trailer for the third season of its hit show Grace and Frankie and it looks like there’s trouble in paradise.
Picking up where season two left off, the trailer opens on Grace (Jane Fonda) and Frankie (Lily Tomlin) attempting to secure a loan for their personal vibrator business.
“We make vibrators—specifically for older women—that take into account their arthritis,” Grace explains. “Tender vaginal tissue,” Frankie adds. They don’t get the loan.
While the BFFs are busy hocking their sex toy goods, their husbands Robert (Martin Sheen) and Sol (Sam Waterston)— who left the ladies for each other in season one—are moving into a new home and discussing retirement.
This domestic bliss contrasts with a bit of drama that erupts between Grace and Frankie over how to run their business. As per usual, Grace’s type A mentality has left Frankie feeling disrespected and unheard.
“You make all the decisions and you don’t include me,” Frankie asserts at one point. “I’m sick of all of it. I’m sick of you.”
Fortunately, we’ll only have to wait until March 24 to see how it all plays out.
