Scars
Scars are very sexy. They tie in to our culture's icon of the rugged warrior, the roughed-up cowboy, the solider wounded from battle. For some people, they are an extremely strong turn-on. These people have scar fetishes and many sometime choose to intentionally scar themselves in order to give themselves a feature they consider attractive. Not to belabor a distinction, but doing son would probaly be considered a body-mod kink. Scars as erotic stimuli are fetishes.
