Mike Aktari of ‘Jerseylicious’ dies at 28

From: New York Daily News
Mike Aktari, known for his time on the reality show "Jerseylicious," has reportedly died at age 28.

Aktari, a personal trainer from Westbury, N.Y., died Monday, TMZ reports.

While the cause of death is pending a toxicology report, police do not believe there was any foul play.

"Jerseylicious" ran from 2010-2013 on the Style Network (now called Esquire Network), and focused on the employees and relationships within the Gatsby Salon in Green Brook, N.J. Aktari appeared as the boyfriend of series lead Olivia Blois Sharpe, a makeup artist at the salon, and the ex-boyfriend of Tracy DiMarco, a Gatsby stylist.

Though Blois Sharpe and Aktari had ended their relationship since the show's end, a brokenhearted Blois Sharpe took to Instagram following his death for several emotional tributes.

"My heart has never hurt this hard," she wrote alongside a collage of pictures of the former couple. "You had the most wonderful heart. I wish I made more of an attempt to get together to catch up when you asked. I'll always love you Milad."

The next day, Blois Sharpe continued her tribute.

"Our time here is so valuable and limited," she captioned a photo of the pair.

"If there is someone who has a part of your heart, no matter what has transpired in the past, no matter what the situation might be..LET THEM KNOW how much they mean to you. Milad takes a piece of my heart with him."
