‘Sister Wives’ Daughter Mariah Comes Out as Gay

On a recent  episode of “Sister Wives,” Mariah, 21, made a big announcement to her parents Kody and Meri Brown.

During the episode, she told her family that she identified as a lesbian.

After the episode aired, she tweeted her appreciation to people who gave her love and support. She said, "wow okay y'all making me cry with your support. thank you thank you thank you thank you😌😌🏳️‍🌈.”

Nearly three years before Mariah’s announcement, her family made an appearance on HuffPost Live, where they expressed their support for gay marriage. At the time, the family said, “People should structure the way they want... All adults should be able to choose who they love and structure their family. We have close friends who are homosexual.”
