According to the Washington Post, an unnamed former gay porn actor has been arrested for being a double agent spy. It sounds like the plot of a B-grade gay porno or sad USA network made for TV movie, but it’s true.
The man, age 51, is reportedly of Spanish descent and a German citizen. He began his work for the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV), Germany’s domestic spy agency, in April of this year. However, he was discovered to be a mole and arrested on November 29. The Post also reports that his stage name and various chat room aliases are being held back while the investigation continues.
So, how did he get discovered? Apparently he was using a chat room that is frequented by Islamic militants, where offered to help infiltrate German intelligence and plan an attack on the headquarters. After he gave up personal details, the agents were able to pinpoint his identity with ease.
“Officials say there is no evidence yet that the suspect provided harmful details to Islamic militants,” the Post reports.
