Watch Florence Henderson Dazzle With “There’s Nothing Like A Dame” At Broadway Cares AIDS Benefit

 As the world mourns the loss of legendary actress Florence Henderson, who passed away on Thanksgiving at the age of 82, fans are taking the opportunity to relive some of their favorite performances that The Brady Bunch matriarch has blessed us with.

Tom Viola, the executive director of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, posted a particularly-fabulous clip of Henderson performing “There’s Nothing Like A Dame” from a Broadway Backwards event from March 2015.

“Florence was generous, with a brave and compassionate commitment to how her celebrity and iconic status could help others and, perhaps, even open closed minds,” Viola wrote. “What always touched me was how Florence would pass a hat for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and other nonprofit organizations at nearly every concert performance.”

He added that Broadway Cares would be making a special $1,500 grant to New York’s LGBT Community Center in celebration of Henderson’s three Broadway Backwards appearances.
