Lady Gaga is reinventing herself as a “regular girl” in preparation for her new album, Joanne, and it inspired Drag Race All Stars winner Alaska to teach us how to get that natural look.
Gone are the meat dresses of yore, and in their place are simple and relatable pieces, including a hair tie fashioned from a rubber band that “I just found lying around my house.”
From hair styles to makeup and wardrobe, our reigning Drag Race queen goes over all the essentials while playfully skewering Gaga’s desire to transform into just your average woman.
“Take your favorite gray tank top and grab some everyday, at-home, around-the-house scissors,” Alaska says while teaching us how to achieve the regular-girl “under-breast” look.
