U.S. Men’s Gymnastics Team Ready For Rio

From: Queety
The U.S. men’s gymnastics team had a disappointing showing in the 2012 Olympics and once again this year, finishing fifth despite being favored to win. They are hoping to find their way onto the podium in the individual events later this week and they are working hard to make that happen. Whatever happens in Rio, we are fully on their side.

Let’s take a closer look at this team of finely tuned and toned American athletes. Watch a video People magazine put together with a behind-the-scenes view of these guys in action.

The team – consisting of Sam Mikulak, Jake Dalton, Alex Naddour, Chris Brooks and Denell Leyva (replacing John Orozco, who sustained an injury) – has also been sharing their efforts on Instagram. It looks like they are taking time to have fun and be goofy as well, which is always nice to see.

And if that wasn’t enough to get you in the mood to cheer, here’s Leyva speaking out after the shooting in Orlando, while wearing a “Make America Gay Again” shirt.
