Unfortunately Named Field Hockey Players Turn Internet Into 14-Year-Old Boys

Language is a funny thing: What might be innocuous in one language can be absolutely scandalous in another.

That became apparent this week in Rio, where Germany took on Canada in Olympics men’s field hockey.

While Canada lost 6-2, it was a photo of two German players standing side-by-side that broke the Internet (or at least sent it into juvenile giggles).

A savvy viewer took a screenshot of Linus Butt and Florian Fuchs standing next to each other with their names emblazoned on the back of their jerseys.
