Years & Years Drops Sexually Explosive Video For “Worship”

 A week after frontman Olly Alexander delivered an impassioned message about queer pride at Glastonbury, Years & Years have dropped a wonderfully queer new video for “Worship.”

The song will serve as the eighth and final single from the band’s hit 2015 debut album, Communion.

The video tracks a gang of young men prowling around an empty parking garage, dancing up a sexual energy that explodes as Alexander climbs on the hood of a car and licks the windshield.


 Alexander described the “magical queer creative energy” to Gay Times.

“I want to stare down fear and intolerance with the queer eyes in my queer face. I want to try to not be afraid. I know I’ll make mistakes, but I want to keep going,” he said.

“I’ve seen the incredible amount of support and love from our fans and I’ve learnt a lot from them. I can only hope that the dialogue continues and we trust each other enough to carry on.”
