One of Hollywood’s hunkiest golden age heartthrobs, Tab Hunter, turns 85 today.
Known for films like Damn Yankees! and Battle Cry-and then a career resurrection in the ’80s with John Waters’ Polyester-Hunter has been back in the spotlight the past few years after he publicly came out and released a memoir and documentary about his life, Tab Hunter Confidential.
After making the film festival rounds the doc is available now on iTunes and Netflix and if you’re already a fan be sure to check out TCM’s all-day marathon of Hunter’s movies in honor of his big day.
