“The Young & The Restless” Star Greg Rikaart And Husband Announce Birth Of Their Son

Soap star Greg Rikaart and his husband, television writer Robert Sudduth, are now the proud parents of a baby son, Montgomery.

“We fight hate, fear, bigotry, homophobia and injustice in the world with love, intellect and enlightenment,” the The Young & The Restless star posted on Instagram. “In the truest and most pure definitions of the latter words, it is with full hearts that Rob and I take great pride in introducing our son, Montgomery Argo Rikaart-Sudduth.”

Montgomery entered the world at 5:01pm on June 12, courtesy of a surrogate.

“He is light and love and magic,” wrote Rikaart, 39. “Monte, Rob, myself and Marcela—our trooper of a surrogate—are all doing fantastic.”

Rikaart and Sudduth were married in Maui a little more than a year ago.
