Wearing a “solar-flare plaid” suit, RuPaul sashayed onto the stage of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night—to the tune of Diana Ross’ “I’m coming out.”
Ru exuded charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent from the moment he sat down, but in case viewers were at a loss, Colbert flashed a picture of the drag superstar snatched for the gods.
The two TV stars kikied about coming out, Pride and Colbert’s secret drag alter ego, Raven.
Ru’s response? “Look at all that ASS!” (He also said Colbert was channeling Selma Blair with his look, but we’re not sure we see it.)
Always the giver, the Drag Race host also shared a tip she gives to young folk thinking about getting into entertainment.
“I always tell kids who come through Drag Race, ’Change your name because you don’t want your real name on public records,'” he explained.
“…You’re sitting at the gynecologist’s office and all of a sudden, you know, they call your name out and everybody goes ‘Oh! She’s up in here getting her pussy cleaned. Miss RuPaul!”

On Saturday, RuPaul will made an appearance at the Logo Trailblazer Honors, leading the audience in a moment of silence for the victims of the mass shooting in Orlando.
