The New York Police Department is showing off their pride with a new rainbow-colored patrol vehicle that will be on the ground at this Sunday’s Manhattan Pride parade.

The white SUV features a band of rainbow stripes that wrap around the exterior, a rainbow-colored NYPD logo and messages of support for the LGBT community, including a window decal that reads “Our Love Goes Out To Orlando,” to honor the victims of the June 12 mass shooting at Pulse nightclub.

Last week, the NYPD held a celebration for the department’s LGBT community of officers for the first time in ten years. Speaking to the crowd of members of the Gay Officers Action League, NYC Police Commissioner William Bratton (pictured below) declared his and the entire department’s support of the community, saying that they are “fully committed to ensuring all of our members not only have a voice but a voice that is heard.”

Though some have praised Bratton for his commitment to standing in solidarity with the LGBT community, others have questioned it, perhaps most noticeably at a vigil following the Orlando shooting held at the Stonewall Inn where Bratton was booed off stage by attendees.
