Shadowhunters actor Harry Shum Jr. has posed for a new series by photographer Tyler Shields, and talked about his fitness inspiration in shots uploaded to Instagram.
Said the 34-year-old: “I got sick of people calling me scrawny when I was growing up so I found some heavy objects and learned how to lift them. I’m glad that happened because from then on, I became healthier and stronger both body and mind. Constantly striving to be the best version of myself, damn it. Shum Jr. and Shields go way back — he first posed for the photographer back in 2010, when he was getting his start as an actor on Glee.
Shields is known for photographing Hollywood’s freshest young talent. He most recently made headlines after photographing Colton Haynes and his Arrow co-star Emily Bett in a gender swap fantasy.
