Did the young sitcom star go too far?

The Real O’Neals’ Noah Galvin spoke out against Colton Haynes and Bryan Singer, among others, in a shocking interview last week, and now it looks like his controversial opinions could cost him his show.
In the interview with Vulture, the openly gay 22-year-old called Colton Haynes “the worst” and described his recent coming out as “fucking pussy bullshit.” He also called Eric Stonestreet’s performance as Cam on Modern Family “a caricature of a caricature,” and suggested that X-Men director Bryan Singer holds parties with underage boys at his home.
Galvin immediately apologized for his comments after the story quickly spread across social media, but that may not have been enough for ABC.
The network responsible for The Real O’Neals was apparently blindsided by the interview, and rumors of them ordering reduced episodes for the second season quickly began to spread.
Insiders for the show are now sharing that Galvin has been warned on more than one occasion to tone down his sense of “ego and entitlement.” And now the interview seems to have only made matters worse.
“He caused a grade-A shit show,” a show source told The Hollywood Reporter. “ABC screamed at him all afternoon.”
