“Born To Save”
These Three Totally Heterosexual Christians
One of my favorite occasional trips to the lunatic side of Youtube is the influx of pop songs “re-imagined” for Christian audiences, i.e “Sexy And I Know It” rewritten as “Blessed And I Know It” or “Call Me Maybe” becoming “I Know You Saved Me.” Think of it as God Bopz (which if that hasn’t been taken already, I call).
Here we have three guys taking “Born This Way,” filling it with the holy spirit (and bizarre wardrobe choices), and delivering “Born To Save” unto us. These three Jesus boyz have taken Gaga’s gay anthem and somehow, miraculously, made it the gayest thing in the history of everything. Which I’m not sure was their intent.
