Jessica Lange, Susan Sarandon Starring In New Ryan Murphy Series—As Bette Davis And Joan Crawford!

"Feud" is sure to be a showdown of epic proportions.
From: NewNowNext
To those of you still mourning Jessica Lange’s departure from American Horror Story, dry your tears now. The Emmy-winning actress is confirmed to star in Feud, a new anthology series coming to FX from AHS creator Ryan Murphy.

As the title suggests, the series will focus on famous beefs, with the first season revealing the backstory and backbiting behind What Ever Happened To Baby Jane?

Lange will play Joan Crawford, with Susan Sarandon stepping in as Bette Davis. Alfred Molina, Stanley Tucci, Judy Davis and Dominic Burgess will co-star. It’s like gay Christmas in May!

Feud will mark Lange’s first collaboration with Murphy since Season Four of American Horror Story wrapped back in 2014, but the two have always made magic together—from Constance Langdon to Sister Jude.

She was the Supreme, after all!

A diva-off between her and Sarandon will make some great television—and if there’s anyone who knows how to capitalize on campiness and catiness, it’s Ryan Murphy.

FX has ordered eight episodes of Feud, which is set to premiere sometime next year. Along with Murphy, Brad Pitt will serve as executive producer.

We’ll have our popcorn ready.
