New Book Claims Marlon Brando and James Dean Were Into Kink

Rumors of James Dean and Marlon Brando’s love affair are nothing new. It’s been the subject of gossip for decades.

But a new book goes a step further, claiming that the two were involved in a S&M relationship. In James Dean: Tomorrow Never Comes, a friend of Dean named Stanley Taggart says that the couple’s kink involved leather and sado-masochistic sex in which Brando was the dominant master and Dean was the submissive slave.

“I got the impression that Jimmy was engaged in a cat-and-mouse affair with Brando, with Brando being the cat, of course,” Haggart claimed. “Brando seemed to be toying with Jimmy for his own amusement. I think Brando was sadistically using Jimmy, who followed him around like a lovesick puppy with his tongue wagging.”

Still, there is a good chance the claim isn’t true. The authors, Danforth Prince and Darwin Porter, are infamous for their sensational fabrications of dead celebrities’ sex lives knowing that their subjects cannot sue.
